We have a full range of outdoor activities available for schools, groups, businesses and post-secondary students! From exploring the caves at the base of Mount McRae to climbing the rock face, camping & survival exercises to hiking and snowboarding, team & trust building exercises to kick-sledding down the hills, the NorWest Outdoor Centre has something for everyone! Of course, don't forget about our birthday party packages... a unique way to celebrate a birthday with guaranteed fun and memories!

We have hosted everyone from elementary school students to the Canadian Armed Forces on operational exercises; our facility is geared to most anyone and you are sure to have a great time! Challenge by Choice is our philosophy along with having a ton of fun in a safe, supervised and controlled atmosphere. But a word of caution: prolonged exposure to the outdoors may cause happiness!

The Chapmans are the driving force behind the NOC's success. These outdoor enthusiasts & teachers are experienced in the operation of the outdoor centre and have guided canoe expeditions, all season camping adventures and much more for many years. No two folks are as experienced, knowledgeable and friendly as Doug & Ruth; and both strive to make your visit as memorable as possible.
